In 2024, Julia acquired Seacoast Solutions for Business (SSforB) from Renee Vacca. Julia holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and earned her MBA from Bryant University in 2015. Over the course of her career, she has gained extensive experience across a variety of sectors, including for-profit, not-for-profit, start-ups, and most recently, the corporate environment. With nearly a decade of expertise in accounting, finance, and global payroll, Julia’s initial interest in business operations has evolved into a deep passion for organizational growth and efficiency.

When the opportunity arose to work alongside Renee to grow and develop SSforB and collaborate with local business owners, Julia eagerly embraced it. Reflecting on her transition, Julia stated: “The greatest aspect of Seacoast Solutions is the incredible client base that Renee has cultivated over the years. The opportunity to work closely with local business owners and leaders on a daily basis is what drives my work. I hope that my dedication to my clients is reflected in the work I do."

A little more about Julia: she is a devoted mother of three and enjoys spending time with her supportive husband. While she has pet cats, she humorously notes that she is not a “cat lady.” Her ideal vacation is a family trip to Greece. When asked about the qualities of a great leader, Julia said, “I believe a strong leader empowers their team members to operate autonomously, efficiently, and effectively. A true leader nurtures their team, allowing them to deliver exceptional service to clients.”

Renee Vacca joined Seacoast Solutions for Business in 2000 and became the owner of the company in 2009. A dedicated New Englander, she earned her BA in Science & Accounting from New Hampshire College. Prior to owning SSforB, Renee accumulated 11 years of experience in operations, internal auditing, accounting, and division control within the local business community.

Over her two decades with SSforB, Renee has provided comprehensive business support services to hundreds of clients. Her expertise includes record keeping, QuickBooks accounting software advisement, business operations management, and tax filing support. After assuming ownership, she has been dedicated to fostering the growth and success of local businesses in Exeter, NH, and the surrounding communities.

Under Renee’s leadership, SSforB has expanded its services across New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. In her current role, she focuses on CFO-level consulting, partnering with clients to develop business strategies, long-term growth plans, and financial forecasting models.

A bit more about Renee: Renee enjoys traveling the world with her husband and hosting dinners for family and friends. She loves entertaining and introducing guests to new board and card games at the Vacca residence.

Louri is an Accounting, Payroll, and Financial Specialist at Seacoast Solutions for Business, and has been an integral member of the team since 2006. In her role, Louri is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including cash flow management, account reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial reporting. On an annual basis, she works closely with clients to file 940/941/W-2/W-3 forms, 1099/1096 filings, and assists in preparing annual tax returns. Louri is a graduate of Daytona State College and Stetson University and is also a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

A bit more about Louri: She resides locally with her husband, Tim, and their beloved pet, Eesa. She enjoys time spent with family including her children Elyssa and Christopher. Originally from Rocky Mount, NH, Louri enjoys the vibrant seacoast area and the strong sense of community it offers, although she admits she could do without the long winters.

Lauren is an Accounting Specialist at SSforB, where she plays a key role in managing critical client-facing tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, weekly and monthly financial reporting, cash management, and payroll processing. Behind the scenes, she also oversees vital annual responsibilities, such as 1099 filing and the preparation of year-end financial reports. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting, Lauren is also a recent MBA graduate from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. With her strong academic foundation and expanding expertise in accounting and financial reporting, she is eager to transition into a more consultative role, offering valuable client advisement and strategic financial guidance.

A bit more about Lauren: she has two beloved pet Chihuahuas, and her dream vacation destination is Greece. Interestingly, as a child, she once dreamt of becoming a dentist. When asked what qualities define a great leader, Lauren shared, “I believe a great leader demonstrates integrity and empowers others in the workplace.”

Jess has been with Seacoast Solutions for Business (SSforB) since 2021, when she was initially hired part-time to perform daily tasks. She quickly became an essential team member and now holds the role of Junior Accountant. In her current position, Jess is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly reconciliations for clients. She also processes weekly and bi-weekly payroll and produces monthly financial reports to help clients effectively manage their businesses. Jess is focused on expanding her knowledge in accounting and financial reporting while increasingly working directly with clients. She is expected to continue her positive growth trajectory within the organization.

A bit more about Jess: She grew up in North Carolina before her family moved to New Hampshire, where she graduated from high school. Jess is one of four sisters and has one brother. From a young age, she dreamed of working with children, which led her to take on roles as a camp leader at local camps.

Darren is currently a student at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. As an Accounting Intern at SSforB, he is responsible for daily tasks such as allocating expenses, recording income, managing liabilities, and handling notes payable. You may encounter Darren locally around Exeter and the surrounding towns as he collects information and paperwork from clients. Additionally, he completes monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and prepares payroll files for processing. Through this internship, Darren is enhancing his knowledge of accounting and financial reporting as he builds his professional career.

A bit more about Darren: I enjoy staying active by playing football, softball and golf in the North Shore of Massachusetts. I’m always delighted by the lessons in teamwork and adversity learned through sports that seamlessly carry over into the professional world. When asked what qualities define a great leader, Darren said “I believe a great leader keeps a positive, forward thinking mindset, even in the face of challenging situations.”
